My gliders dont seem to like the BML.. even if i leave that in there before giving their fruits and veggies they wont touch it.. theyll sniff it and then look at me with this face like their thinking "okay wheres the real stuff"..
what can i do to get them to eat it? I know its very important for their diet..

Mine eat their fruit and veggies and nibble on the BML and eat that last thing befor they go to bed.
Are you feeding it frozen or letting it thaw out and stirring it?

A lot of people have noticed that the way the BML is mixed can have a lot to do with whether they will eat it or not. Try making a batch and mixing it exactly like said in the recipe right down to how long the blender is on <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/agree.gif" alt="" />

there are a couple of things you can try, none of which should be permanent changes...

you can try icing it with a babyfood they do like (sweet potatoes, many of the "desert" type fruits) and reduce the amount of veggies/fruit accordingly (so if you use a veggie babyfood, give them less real veggies), you can also try apple sauce and yogurt

if you have gliderade you can try sprinkling some on top of the BML

if you feed mealies, you can try not feeding them till morning if at all

you can also try mixing the ingredients in different ways and you could PM Bourbon (the B of BML), she is great at helping...

i mixed it exactly how the recipe said..
and its frozen in cubes but i let it thaw out and put it in their cage..around the same time they wake up.
I even tried to trick them and put some mealies on top of it.. but they just picked the mealies out lol so i know their hungry their just being stubborn..

i think tonight im gonna try it with some hawiian delight and see how that goes.. they seem to love that stuff!

If you let it melt make sure you stir it up so the juice that drains from the middle is mixed into the mixture.

Oh i love hawiian delight i use to eat it w/ my daughters it's some good stuff their sure to like that in there mmmmmmm good...lol lol

How long have you been trying the BML? Sometimes it can take awhile for a suggie to get used to a diet.. however if you go a few weeks with no luck, I would consider another diet.

Mine seem to prefer it straight out of the freezer, so you could also try it that way rather than letting it thaw out.
