Yes, you can offer them eggs as a protein source. Boiled or scrambled (no oils or seasonings). Lots of people do not feed any insects and offer eggs, chicken,& turkeys as the extra protein

You can actually order them yourself from places like www.grubco.com. I just have two gliders, but I order 1000 mealies for about $15 or so. Keeping them in the fridge in a Gladlock container they last for like 4 - 6 months before I run out. I keep them far back on the bottom shelf so people don't notice I keep bugs in my fridge.

Just wanted to add; It does depend on the diet you feed whether you add eggs or not to your diet. If you are feeding the BML diet, you really don't need to add eggs, in fact this goes back to the adding to and taking from rule of most proven diets.... and Mealworms are not fed for the protein in the BML diet... they are recommended for cleaning their teeth. If you don't have access to the mealworms, it is recommended that you place a safe tree branch inside the cage to serve the same purpose.

Just a note, all of our gliders love scrambeled eggs! It is a bit messy though so we usually let them have it in the bath tub so that clean up is a bit easier. It is hilarious to see them eat it though.
