I know Suggies are not supossed to have beef, but what about ham? Could it maybe have too much salt in it, or would it be ok?

Thanks Peggy. Thats what I thought, but you never know. I don't want them to have much salt, and I know it tastes salty to me, so I can imagine how salty it would be for them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Yes, ham, or any kind of processed meat, will be too salty. Here's a nice link to use for determining nutritional values of different foods: USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference.

Of my nine gliders, only Lady Elva likes ham, and worse, it's that canned stuff, which is probably more salt and other chemicals than meat. I can't eat it in her enclosure anymore; if she smells it, she's obsessed. Tip for the day: never set your mug of canned ham (or whatever) under anything a glider might perch on ...
