I know knitting is a no no for gliders. But recently I have seen knit toys for gliders. I have a few toy ideas and I think it would be safe if I use cotton yarn and tiny needles. What are your opinions on knit toys?

I crochet, I could give you some tips. I make pouches and I want to learn to make some other things, but I need left-handed patterns. LOL I use Bernat blanket yarn, it's very similar to fleece and has been proven safe when crocheted with tight stitches and checked daily(as all pouches and toys should be). Amanda Miller uses Polar brand fleece yarn when she crochets and Jessica Surratt takes regular fleece, cuts it into 1/2"-1" wide strips and crochets it that way. We've all got out own styles. As far as I've been told; no Knit stitches are safe. But crochet, when done correctly is.
