I got an egg placed some papaya inside and put in her cage. I heard her playing with it several times but it remained unopened, also placed straw on ball, made triangle, got a bird toy shape sorter and none has been changed. She just runs around and plays in her wheel. Her bigger cage comes today and I can hang the 15 piece fleece Cage set. Question 1. Did I ceate these toysz? Question 2. Am I worrying too much? I literally sspend all day and night except 6 hrs of my sleep(if im lucky with her out of her cage and on me on some way or other)

One of my gliders plays with all of her toys, she yanks, pulls, drags, bites and just seems to truely enjoy them, the other plays with one and seems to redecorate (she throws them out of the toy box) or talk to the rest of them. That, or shes telling us about them. I was hoping to put the 2 gliders together so one could teach the other to play but, that plan was put on hold a few months. Maybe your glider needs a little more time to figure its toys out. How long did she have them? On reading your other post, i have to wonder if your girl talks to her toys too. Does it sound like someone smuggled a puppy into your house?

On the easter egg, I did have to squeeze the sides till it started to crack open on the very first one, they figured it out after that. It may take a few days. The straw triangle, only one of mine plays and trys to open, the other waits and then joins in on the spoils once the other one figures it out.

It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong, and you may be worrying a bit too much, but that's because your a good suggie mommy It may take time for her to figure the toys out. From different things I've read and seen with my own gliders, they're all different about it when it comes to toys. My girls were around a year old when I homed them, and didn't come with many toys, a wheel, a few cat jingle balls and that was pretty much it. They used their wheel, and chewed their wheel, to the point where it looked like it would begin to fall apart. I got them toys, made toys and it seems like they really didn't play with them most of the time. Well, they would examine everything to see if it was edible, then leave it alone after they found it wasn't I did get them a new wheel, and the good news is since having other toys and activities around in the cage, even though I really didn't see them play with them, they were not destroying their wheel. So I chalked that up to that they had been bored, because I knew they were fed plenty I can only assume, they do pay some attention to their toys If I don't hear them, I'll see some tell-tale signs that they've bothered with some, even if was to taste test, chew on, or toss around in the cage.
