Hello everyone. I am from México, and I recently buy a Kaytee Silent spinner, but the supplier send me a 6.5" wheel (whitout the two little wheels on the back), the quedtion is: It is this size ok for an adult sugar glider? Im not sure but I think is not. The next size is 12", but the supplier told me that he use the 6.5" very well and the 12" is too big for the gliders. Searching online I saw the kaytee Confort Wheel (8.5"), Im not sure if it is available in Mexico. is safe for the gliders? Does anyone use it?. Thanks for your help.

The 6.5 inch wheel is too small for a sugar glider. Gliders do not walk or run in a wheel as much as the use it to get a good jump and stretch their body across the wheel for exercise. I have some photos on my web page along with links to several vendors that sell very safe 12 inch sugar glider wheels. You may need to email them to find out the cost of shipping to Mexico but if you request regular ground shipping instead of Priority Mail it would cost much less. http://www.gliderkids-diet.com/FAQ.html
