Some people use glider kitchens.

You get a shoe box sized plastic storage tote and you put two holes in it. Most people use a empty soup can with the label removed, heat it up on the stove and then melt a hole.

Make sure you have your exhaust fan running when you do this.

You then put their food into the kitchen and place it in the cage.

I feed my gliders using a divided baby plate. I keep the fruits and vegetables separate from their staple because they like to pick up the pieces of fruit and veggies to carry them to their favorite spot in the cage to sit while munching on them. Not mixing them with the staple prevents dripping the staple all over the cage when they carry off a piece of veggie.

The shallow dish allows all of the colony to get up to the plate with out having to stand on the edge or walking through the food.

we use a $1 cake holder from dollar tree, its pretty weak. I cut door with knife and smoothed door edges. With 4 gliders we needed a bigger kitchen, a small one means the gliders tails end up in the hpw. most if not all the mess ends up in the cake holder.

I seperate my critter love in small round dish and salad in another Stuart never makes a mess but yes mine pick up fruits and veggies and take them elsewhere. Maybe with just one glider theres no one to have a food fight with lol

When we re-homed our 2nd set they came with 2 of these, or something very similar at least:

Here is a link to them on Exotic Nutrition.

http://www.exoticnutrition.com/newnomefest.html

The 2 girls that had them seem to love them. Since we haven't been able to get all 4 of our gliders in the same cage yet, I can't say if the other 2 would use them.

But, we also put some kind of ceramic dish inside of them, like this:

Here is a link to that, but I just picked some up at a local pet store as well:

http://www.exoticnutrition.com/cefedisallsi.html

We also use these with our 1st set of re-homes, again it is what they came with, but we like them. We tried some stainless steel ones and while they are great, they were just too light and would tip over when the girls tried to jump on them to perch and eat.

Now we use the stainless steel ones only with the ring that attaches to the cage, and we put their liquid staple in them.
