How long can I separate male

I am headed to a vet conference in New Orleans, about 45 minutes from home. I plan to stay with my sister. It runs from the 11th to the 13th. Now I also scheduled to have my male neutered in New Orleans on the 13th, to go home on the 14th. Can he be away from his mate and grown baby for that long without any reintroduction issues? My only other plan is to drive from NO to home , pick him up and drive back Monday night. Pain in the butt but he would only be separated for 2 days instead of 5.

Yes, he can be away from them that long and have no issues with the reintro. What type of vet conference is it? Where is N.O is it being held? I wonder if some of my buddies are going to be going.
