This sure puts a crimp in tomorrows plans, Ryan must have hurt his tail sometime after Thursday morning and tonight.

He has chewed over half of it off and is going to need surgery to clean it up.

Guess I won't be making any purchases at the pet expo, if we are even able to go.

Poor Ryan! Here's hoping for a quick and easy (and inexpensive) surgery, with a speedy recovery.

Not cheap, 289.00 later he has about 2 inches of tail left. He was a very good boy, no biting or crabbing.

I got to go in and watch the surgery. Not much more than a neuter, except for the stitches.

They were getting swamped as we left so I am glad we were able to get in.

Wow... That's a lot... At least now he can move on and be happy again.

So do you have him in an ecollar? I try to feature one of the girls in one, and think about what they could still reach. And I can't figure that out. Just curious...

Sorry you missed the expo.

I was just checking in on Ryan, I'm glad to hear he is recovering. Did you ever find out what happened to his tail?

Found the end of his tail in the pouch, so I am not real sure what happened that he decided it needed to go.
