So Lilo and Kara are sisters and living in the big cage. We got them in February and they were probably 6-7 weeks old then. The new Cremeino is probably 6-7 weeks OOP and she's in a little cage next to the other cage with her own wheel and pouch. I'm swapping out their pouches. I know Kara hissed at her a bit the first day from the other cage and crabbed a little but I haven't heard that since. On Saturday we're gettin another little girl who's probably the same age as the Cremeino. The girl at the pet store said we shouldn't really have a problem putting the two babies together but def should do the slow introduction to Kara and Lilo with two separate cages for a week or so. Should I be worried about the two smaller ones getting along initially? The only two that have been together from the start are Kara and Lilo who are sisters.

Hi Karen,

I read that and following it. How should i go about adding all three different populations? Theyre all girls. The cremaino i just got and the other baby comin next weekend i was told should probably get along well rather quickly since they're so young. Would have them in the one cage and then eventually they'll go in with Kara n Lilo when theyve had a week or two with the two cages side by side and sowm tent time together. Do you think the two babies will get along easily?

I think your chances are probably pretty good seeing they are all girls and will be getting a baby for them to tend.

Suggest simply following the steps for the introduction and watching close for any signs of trouble which I doubt there will be any.

You may even find they want her right away, but just be careful.

Since the cremeino we got Sat is a baby and the other we'll be getting Sat is also a baby but from different parents do you think those two will hit it off fine at first? Then trying to intro them to Kara and Lilo is what Im fearful of.

The two younger ones together will probably go fine as long as the pouch cage is clean and free of either of their marking.

You may want to intro in the mornings when it's time to sleep. Maybe one adult at a time. Starting with the less dominant one first. In a bathtub with a clean fleece blanket in bottom helps.

When the other baby comes this weekend should I clean the cage out that the cremeino is currently in along with the pouch before i intro them? I've been swapping out the pouch with her and the older girls.
