Leave a pouch, hopefully you can find some fleece items from the cage that you can place around near by. Also keep some food near the pouches and either a small dish of water or attach another water bottle to outside the cage that he can get to.

Other than that, try to keep the "glider room" secure, just in case he's still in there, but don't rule out listening in and checking wherever you can with flash light outside the room.

Make sure all toilet lids are kept closed, check laundry and trash receptacles before emptying or taking out of the house. Check your clothes, shoes, anywhere where you could possibly thing he could hide up.

And, use the flash light to watch where you are stepping.

Please keep us posted with updates. Saying a prayer you find your glider and have power restored soon.

Ty sooo much I just found him after looking for almost 4 hrs!!!!! I rattled the mealworms box and I found him in a bag with old curtains!!!!!!! I'm so relieved you have no idea! The last 4 days were so horrible with the hurricane and damage and no power and no that! But I found my baby boy !!!!! Thank you I'm sorry for posting it under emergency but I was so scared since all my windows were open to get air in tonight

An escaped glider is a scary thing. An escaped glider in a post hurricane home with out power and during at night, I can imagine is terrifying. I understand the emergent feelings behind it. You've been through a lot with Irma's distruction. I'm so glad you found him and he is safe. I wish you the best in the weeks ahead trying to get life and home back to normal.

Always double check those cage doors! It's almost turned into an OCD thing for me, almost lol. Sometimes even getting out of bed to do another check if I can't remember for sure if I got things locked up good and tight for the night.

Happy your all safe!

Just and FYI, zip tie any doors your not using, specially those nest box doors on the HQ Cages.

I'm so glad you found him, thanks for update. I'm sure it's a huge relief to at least not have that weighing on you, along with everything else. Hope Irma victims, as well has the Harvey victims recover as quick as possible.
