I'm not familiar with this particular company. That doesn't mean anything at all. I use raw honey harvested locally, without the honeycomb. I look for cold filtered process. This process keeps all nutritional value in the the honey. I have also bought raw honey at a grocery store, I look for local or at least regional companies. Since we eat honey too, there is a benefit to this as far as local allergens. What diet have you chosen?

Yeah, it's not gonna be cheap, but 23 oz is quite a bit. I've given $8 for a half a pound before. That comes to $1 per ounce. Mine are on Critter Love complete, and I give honey as a treat.
I didn't know vegetarians couldn't have honey.

I am vegan so no honey for me haha, i am organic and do my best to stay healthy Dawn, vegan is more strict that vegetarian
vegetarian - The oxford dictionary definition of a vegetarian is “a person who does not eat meat or does not believe in eating meat, fish, fowl, or in some cases, any food derived from animals, as eggs or cheese, but subsists on vegetables, fruits, nuts, grain etc.” vegan - A follower of veganism is known as a vegan”. That means veganism extends beyond the diet of a vegan individual. That is the biggest difference between vegans and vegetarians. While vegetarians may not consume animal products, they may use them if they are present in other products, such as items containing silk, honey or leather. Vegans on the other hand, avoid the use of animal products in all areas of their lifestyles.

Wow! I thought they were the same. I thought if I used the word vegan, I might offend you. I wasn't sure if it was politically correct as the second person using in a sentence. Thank you for the correction. I learned something new today!

Here are a couple Apiaries located in Washington State: http://www.sweetandsimpleapiaries.com/honey.html https://brookfieldfarmhoney.wordpress.co...-make-a-living/ I pay about $23.00 for a 5 pound jug of honey, normally a friend and I purchase a 5 gallon (60 pound) container of honey, but we are feeding a lot of gliders. I would go for local honey before getting honey from Walmart.

We do to that is why we prefer to get the 5 gallon and split it, we have saved a lot of the other smaller honey jugs and I sit in the kitchen and fill jugs.
Slow process.

Slow process. Not sure why but visions of Winnie the Poo come to mind, lol. Maybe it's all that honey and honey jugs.
