While vegetarians may not consume animal products, they may use them if they are present in other products, such as items containing silk, honey or leather.

Vegans on the other hand, avoid the use of animal products in all areas of their lifestyles.

We do to that is why we prefer to get the 5 gallon and split it, we have saved a lot of the other smaller honey jugs and I sit in the kitchen and fill jugs.
