I have a female and neutered male in a large cage. The female is very friendly and outgoing, while the male can be reserved and mean and points.

I would like to introduce more sugar gliders to the cage. The male is neutered, but still mates with the female.
Would it be okay to introduce another male to mate with the female of the cage? If that's not okay, could we introduce another set of male and female to the cage with intentions of breeding, without disturbing the original inhabitants?

Also, what is a good way to introduce new sugar gliders? if there's no options available above, who can I add to the cage?

thank you, this forum is very helpful.

As long as the second male is neutered to, yes.

Here is a good read on intros:

Since my female already has a bonded neutered male, will she ever be able to mate again? Also, if I want to get a pair to mate again, I should get a new pair, in a new cage?

If you put an un- neutered male with a neutered one, there will be trouble.

You can pair up your female with another male in a different cage, if she will take him. How old is your female?

If you decide to do this, your neutered male will need a buddy.

i'm unfortunately unsure of the age due to where i adopted the pair from. A nice lady is willing to sell me a brother, sister and a small cage. i could move the new male to the old cage and old male to the new cage.

You would have to split up the brother and sister, you cannot have them breeding with each other.

Just checking in to see if you were able to make the move for your gliders and get the other two?
