I am a new mom, and have only had my gliders 2 days, but have noticed one makes a cute, very quiet "popping" sound in the pouch during the day. Popping is the only way I can describe it. It isn't really a purr, and is intermittent.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Popping is usually a sound of contentment. It is normal. She may make the noise while eating and taking snacks.

I would pay attention to this noise, because if it's a continuous and frequent noise, it could be a sign of sickness.

Thanks! I will keep an eye on it, but it is not really frequent or constant. It seems like it is only when they are stirring from sleep, and before they go back to sleep.
