Nope. Just a place to poop... They could be pooping up over the dishes and it lands in the dish. One of mine pooped in her dish 3 days in a row. Then stopped..  who knows...  .

Yep it's normal😞. Mine often poop while they are eating. Something going in, and something coming out. Depending how and where they sit, it sometimes gets in the dish and they sure don't mind, haha.
