There aren't any emergency 24-hour vets/clinics in your area? Have you checked the phonebooks? confused

I talked to Jenny's mom last night.. and she tried to describe the situation to me.

He is either constipated or he is SMing.. or maybe SMing due to constipation.

I was told that it wasn't like an open wound.. just an inflamed area that was a little bloody, but not dripping blood.

She said he seemed to strain when he went to the bathroom and that he was breathing funny.

I just talked to Janet again and Jenny is on her way to an emergency vet with Stitch.

So another update I did find an emergency vet and took him out there the doctor did tests and things but his penis was turning black because it was not getting blood flow and he was pulling at it. The doctor said he was either having sex and it got stuck out or he pulled it out and it got suck. So the doctor tried putting a sugar solution on it twice to make it go back in but that would'nt work either so he had to ambutate the tetacales of it leaving only the base that he pees from he gave me a better cone for his neck and antibiotics he also told me to put neosporine on it 2 times a day!! Thank u for all your conserns!!

poor little guy. When my Stitch needed meds I got a tiny syringe with needle from the vet and injected the antibiodics into a meal worm. He gobbled it right up. You just have to feed the mealie quickly before the meds kill it and it gets yucky.

I tried that once when my Toby needed meds......he got so he would inspect EVERY worm for signs that it had medication on or in it & wouldn't hesitate to toss any that looked suspicious.

So My little guy stitch just had is penis amputated leaving only the base because it had been stuck out for too long and the doctor gave me an antobiotic called clavamox (amoxicillin trihydrate/ clavulante potassium) and told me to wacth for diarrhea. Now stitch does have diarrhea and the doc told me to stop giving him his medicine for now which I did. I also tried to feed him corn along with his food to harded his bm's but that hasnt worked. Any suggestions on how to harden his bm's would be GREAT!! Please help me get my little man better! U can message me back from here or e-mail me at WmnCSnowflake@aol.com subject stitch!! try a little yogur t to replenish the bacteria lost in his system due to the meds i heard a couple of oatmeal flakes are good for diarreah. but, not the instant or quick kind. only the old fashioned that takes time to cook.
