I hear people talking about their suggies' "jacks". Is this like the old school jacks? But plastic?? Also a lot of people said their suggies like stacking toys. What kinds of things are considered "stacking toys"?

Yes, they are just like old school jacks, but plastic. Just don't give them the rubber ball.

They also like little army men or the zoo animal guys - any HARD plastic toy. Just make sure that they don't have part's that are so small that they can easily be chewed off & injested.
