I was looking over the diet and had a question. Between the glider cereal, yogurt and added protein - isn't the diet too high in protein? Just curious.

I can't answer that question for you. But I would say NO. look at how many gliders Priscilla has and how many happy and healthy gliders have cam from that her lines. I think it is ok, and I back that up with mine and hers happy healthy gliders.

Do you know how long she has been using the diet? Sometimes dietary problems don't show up until the glider is older. Thanks.

For about 5-6 years I believe and she does have older gliders as well as squirrel gliders on this diet. If she ever saw anything wrong it would hvae been changed by know. I hvae been using it for 4 years know.

The diet can have up to 50% protein. If you compare the amount of protein to the amount of fruit, veggies, applesauce, oats, etc - It is under the 50% mark.
