i was wondering if it is normal for the male to hold the female with his mouth, as if he is biting? she does not seem to be bothered by it, but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

The male grips the hair at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades in order to subdue the female glider.... which is normal behavior when breeding.
