once in awhile i give monkey a few preshelled sunflower seeds as a special treat. today she was sitting on her back in my hand while i was giving her one, and she somehow got it stuck to the roof of her mouth. needless to say, after a lot of stress for both me and her, i finally figured out how to get it out- i had to hold her upside down while my mom took a pair of tweezers and somehow managed to get it loose so it would fall out of her mouth. just wanted to share for those of you who do feed seeds as a treat. luckily this story has a happy ending- the seed came out and i apologized with a nice fat cricket.
