while steve was out as usual tonight and he was eating in his cage while i finshed up house then i play with him . he some home got into the ferret cage and one of my ferrets killed him and its all my fault but i would of never dreamed of him getting into the cage . i feel like its all my fault had i of just put off house work and just played with him it never would of happen i have had him since he was 8 weeks oop he was almost 6 yrs old would of been next week . never had another animal that i loved so much and put so much time and love into . it hurts so much and i have no one to blame but myself i knew they were natural enimies but i never would of dreamed he would go in the cage much less fit i it .rip my little angel enjoy the rainbow bridge i and i hope hope (mate that died a while back ) will be there wating on you to frolc with her. enjoy all the food and pretty wheather and all the freedom you could ever want . <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frostyangel.gif" alt="" />

This is a sad reminder to me not to ever to chances concerning the care of my gliders. I'm sure we have all done something like this that we have regretted. The important thing is to learn from it.

Bless your heart. How awful to go through something like that. You need to forgive yourself...in time you will able to do that. Steve is glidin and jumpin his little heart out...hope knowing that his life continues, just in another place, will help you get through the grieving process.
