There are two types of albinos, t+ and t-. The t+ has markings but they are yellowish or creme and an overall white background, this is the cremello. A t- albino is totally devoid of all markings and color, like princess that shelia willson owns.
If the two are interbred they will not produce albinos because they are different genes. Much of this infomation can be found on reptile sites

Hmmm... You know, we need to be very careful with using other largely unrelated animals as genetic cross-references. It's a very important thing because the nature of the genetics don't always apply universally nor cross-species. Though much of reptile genetics may be somewhat understood and rather simplistic and uniform, this condition may not apply to the marsupial gliders. I mentioned in another thread as an example that the albino trait is not sex-linked in many animals, but it is in some species of parakeets a sex-linked phenotype. I am even somewhat reluctant to compare gliders genetically with other eutherian mammals like rats, mice, ferrets, rabbits, humans, etc., only because they are quite evolutionally different and would thus have quite differently working genes to put it simply. We just need to be quite careful with minor details like that, if we want to keep things accurate... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />
