I am pretty sure Ponchess has at least one joey ip. I saw them mating about 3 weeks ago and today I think I felt a joey in her pouch. Recently she has been acting really grumpy and she has been biting and crabbing me and she never crabs at me or bites me. Could this be because she has joeys??
Thanks in advance! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

Yep! Could be. Some moms tend to get a bit on the crabby side, and some get out of it, some dont.
Do not be surprised if Dad starts it too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

Naoshimu got really clingy while she was pregnant, but Rocco turned into a wicked biter...not to scare you unnecessarily, & just because Rocco turned into a biter doesn't mean all daddies will~that's just been my experience. He is still REALLY wonderful with the joeys though...holding & grooming them...singing to them...it's a major protective move I think.

my girl was the opposite, so I believe it can go either way, based on they're tempermant. On the other hand the dad has always been a nipper, likes to bite everything just like sniffing and when his girl was pregnant, nothing changed. As she gave birth and after I was so fastinated and wouldn't leave her alone but I didnt add to any stress really and she was fine, I think its when they are mating they get crabby because you hear all of these awful noises of them getting it on or shes telling him enough! But other then towards themselves no change really in personality from my expierence, other then when the joey finally came OOP she went on a "licking" rampage and even when i went to pet her i notice that she licks my fingures almost every time and I find that cute.
