Okay, if you have a 100% leu het and a 33% leu het, what are the joeys (assuming the parents haven't produced a leu)?

I don't know exactly what it SHOULD be, but when I had a joey from that type of pairing, I called her a 50%. I figured it was best to just go on dad's 100% alone, and consider mom a normal until she proves out.

It would be 66% het or some write 50-66%.

Half of the dad + half of the mom.

That only applies to WF.

What the difference is here you're not trying to figure out how many generations (number of color existing consecutively in the lineage) the leu or leu het is. Rather you're trying to figure out what is the chance this glider has of carrying a certain gene. So the math is done a bit differently.

Yeah. I usually know how to work it out, but for some reason I had the other principle stuck in my mind. Of course when I'm trying to get to sleep, something always pops in my head and I can't figure it out...
