So I just made my first batch of HPW, which looks a great deal less viscous than the BML I was previously feeding. Is that normal? Also.. how do you store the HPW incredients? The bee pollen and HPW powder? Frig, cabinet, etc.?

I keep mine in the fridge, but not the freezer.

And yes - it is much more liquid than BML.

I think she means the bee pollen and wombaroo, not the actual batch of HPW.

I'm honestly not sure. I've always kept mine in the fridge, but I know others who don't.

According to the Wombaroo High Protein Supplement packaging it says store in a cool dry place in an air tight container (once opened).

I emailed the director of Wombaroo about this and he said storing in a cupboard is ideal then added (his words) "Some people store the product in the fridge, but this is not really necessary."

Hope this helps.

I keep both the bee pollen and the Wombaroo in the cupboard and have had no issues.

Once I open a new box of High Protein, I place the bag it came in, inside a ziplock baggie and then place it back in the box and then place it in the fridge.

The bee pollen I place in my pantry.

CKB has a thread going on in which her vet recommends that bee pollen is kept in the freezer. I am going to be discussing this with Dr.Tristan as well today.

The High Protein Wombaroo is in the fridge because I personally feel if left in the pantry it could become like flour does and start gathering those pesty little weevils bugs...in the fridge I dont have to worry about that.

Actually, that was my vet that suggested that smile After my little mystery illness with Molly, my vet suggested that I keep all dry food ingredients refrigerated. I think that considering how humid it is where I live, it's definitely a good idea and I have been following her advise... We actually put a spare fridge in the garage so that I could store my vits in there because I get the big 7 lb tubs smile I also have my baby oatmeal in there, milk replacer, bee pollen, acacia gum, etc.
