building a glider cage

has anyone done it?
I don't have a huge cage, and a lowe's hardware is like..1 minute walking distance away from my apartment, so I thought about making my own cage. any tips?

I have... PM me if you're interested in the instructions and how to make it cheap! I suggest local feed stores for hardware cloth b/c Lowes is a rip off. IT's like $15.00 for 4 ft of it where as feed stores cost about $1.35 per foot.
Mine is 5 ft tall, 3 ft. wide and 2.5 ft. long.
