I bought an exercise wheel for my glider and he doesn't know what to do with it. Is there anyone to show them how to use it? Also are toliet paper rolls empty of course bad for gliders to play with mine LOVES to crawl in them and chew them up.

Hi! I also asked about paper rolls, and learned that they are only good for like tent time and supervised play, as they can cause intestinal blockage in a glider. Plus they might choke on it! Scary! Um, sorry but I don't know about the excercise wheel. What type of wheel is it?? wheels (like the types for hamsters) shouldn't be used as they can break their tails and get hurt in them. Sorry, I'm new to this too, but I'm sure someone who knows your answers will be along soon! Good luck.

It is a hamster wheel but it is fully plastic and is safe for gliders.

Oh, o.k. kinda like the easy spinners? I've heard that they work. You know, Dollar Tree has tons of cheap toys that you could get for your glider--I just got a barrel o' monkeys, which I'm sure they'll LOVE. And I've heard that you can use straws too--just check them to make sure they aren't chewing on them, or maybe just use at tent time. Another cheap toy is hair barrettes--(if you get the right type)meaning no loose threads or loops to get caught on their tiny toes. I found a really cool feathered boa (like a ton of tiny feathers on a string making it look like a scarf like thing) for like a buck at Dollar Tree. I can't wait to see how my gliders will react to it. So have fun! lol my favorite places to shop are Big Lots and Dollar Tree. Good luck!

Glider safe wheels should have no holders that can catch their tails. Toilet paper rolls are fun but only for supervised play. Gliders can get stuck in them or try to eat them causing all sorts of potential problems.

To get your glider interested in the wheel, try taking it into the tent or glider proofed bathroom and putting your glider in the wheel and slowly turn it so they get the idea that they are supposed to walk on it. Once they figure it out, they should take off running. Or atleast mine did.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.
