she didn't want to eat last night and went most of the late night and early morning not going pee or poo.. then this morning right before going to the vet she went poo and had not gone pee All day from last night ... She has been changed to the last ray of hope medicine it is an injection one. that way it goes straight to her blood since she is septic and hopefully by passing her gastero system it is hoped that the runey poo will harden up. IF the anti-biotic is not going threw her tummy. We are hoping this med will do the trick and if not we are out of options. I am praying this works she really needs to stop suffering .. either way . She is on torb for the pain .... Luckly the test ran on the last pee she did last night did not show her kydneys shutting down. I sat here crying with her last night .. I told her if she needs to let go and is tired of fighting , that is is ok to let go and momma will be ok . She is still here with me , Maybe she is not ready to let go of me too ? But i hate seeing her suffer. I am to watch her to see if she eats or not depending on how it goes tonight . Mya be a day or too Just depending how it goes will determine what the turn out will be if she does not decide it on her own before then . I am praying for a wonderful recovery but it has also been discussed what kind of life will she have if she does recover .. Also becuase we were so close before she got iLL and the mental state of her with in the last week , the vet is concerned on how our relationship will be IF she is able to pull threw this . Only time will tell . Please keep praying.

OMG, how does she keep fighting the biggest fight of all--it's because of her love for you I am sure. You are both special and a lesson for us all is in your story. May the lord provide you both with the comfort and strength you need at this time.

just to letr you know although her urine did not show any sign of her kydneys shutting down with her not peeing there was danger of it shutting dweon from not peeing. BUT also to LEt you know she did FInally pee again VERY early this am and did eat a tinmy bit of her bml last night. PLEASE KEeep the prayers up that this med is the med for us as a miracle CURE for my baby . WIll keep you updated as we go . SHE is still in alot of pain and not wanting to be touch and is still disorented.

Yes, last night she commented that the last joey had gone to their new home and she was going to try and sleep between Koala checks!

I got a lil sleep.. SHe started crying last night so I had to get up with her . And she goes back in the morning for a check up and I am currently getting ready for a lil over night trip to Kansas tomorrow to go pick up my mother whom is moving here . and Will be turning around Saterday morning to coem back home after making a lil detour to Judies to see her and sheila before comming home staerday with my mmo with me. And depending on what the vet says in the morning will determine Fi Koala stays home with Daddy ro comming with me . ANd the Human Kids are staying hoime with Daddy so I can make the trip better. and he is off for friday night and saterdaynight.

im praying that amakacin kicks in along with the prayers to get koala better as it did with my old girl.

The Amikacin did not work with Koala matter of fact it kinda was working against her <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> the vets seems to think She is now on Gentacin injections and has been since Monday the 17th.

I just read your update and so glad things are improving.
