I would have two concerns: first being the sting, it looks like nails could get easily caught. Second, it is wood, therefore will absorb urine and get REALLY stinky. But on the other hand, i think it would be a GREAT toy for supervised play, like in a tent, but I personally wouldn't put it in the cage <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
