First off, there are no stupid questions! I cut my fruit into little chunks they can hold, then measure out a tablespoon of this mix. I buy an organic frozen blend of veggies and do the same. It's not an exact science, but you'll see that it's not many pieces of each. You don't need to make it a "level tablespoon" or worry about filling in the gaps of air with food. In fact, if you offer a smothie or relish that is more compact, you want to offer less. After awhile, you'll get to know by sight how much a tablespoon is.

I feed HPW but still have to give one tablespoon of fruits and veggies. I chop the food into approx 1/4" pieces, which makes it easy for them to hold. When I measure, I give what I call, rounded tablespoons. I'd rather give too much than not enough.

My glider usually eat their fruits & vegetables in the form of the relish and smoothie..... but when I do feed them fresh food I just measure their serving per eye sight..... you will get used to what a TBSP is over time.

Mine get the fruits and veggies in the form of relish as well. I freeze it into ice cube trays (each cube is two tablespoons).

I cut all the fruits and veggies into small pieces they can hold. I just eyeball the portions now. In the beginning, I think I overfed lol cause there was always food left over so I'd give less the next time, then if it was 100% gone in the mornings, add a little more the next night, etc.
You'll figure it out after a few mealtimes lol...
