Does your vet have a bio available for people to check them out with?

Dr. Bradley (Bays) has her's up on her website that shows some of her experience.

http://beltonanimalclinicandexo1.liveonatt.com/aboutus.nxg

I've had trouble locating much on my other vet other than he has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1972.

How about YOUR vet?

Also, do you feel this type of info is important when looking for a vet?

My Vet(s) do not have one. I feel having one would be a great help to individuals searching.

Dr. Kate

She has a short bio, though more friendly than informational - I was referred to Dr. Kate by word of mouth, but her website let me know a bit more of the story.

A big plus is that she does her own emergency care - it's a BIG BIG deal to have my vet's home and cell phone numbers, and an even bigger deal that she doesn't mind me using them!

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

I know Tristan doesnt have one on the website for the clinic he works for, however, he is willing to furnish anyone wanting one with it.

Hes out of town at a conference right now, but I will tell him to get it to me ASAP as people are wanting to know...

But to answer your other question Teresa...

No, I dont think it is something we really need to have on our vets, as most of them dont even know about gliders but are willing to learn. I think hands on and willing to research and do what they can for our gliders, us and them to learn as much as possible with hands on goes a lot further than any schooling one could have.

I mean, none of us have school behind us and we know more than most vets!! ohwell

Dr. Susan Baker DVM (Baker vet WPB, FL)

I DEFINITELY think this info is important when searching for a vet. I'd like to be able to get an idea of how long my vets been in practice just for my own curiosity's sake if nothing else. Not that it means they all have the best most current info.

Teresa, were you able to find one somewhere about Lindas vets as well. I mean since I didnt think Tristan had one out there, and you found one, maybe her vets have one out there that she doesnt know about also.

Linda, what is the name of your vet again. Maybe we can google something about them. dunno
