Is the spot next to her eye or is it on top of her head?
Do you have an ecollar? If not here is a link that will explain on how to make one.

If it is self-mutilation, she is only able to scratch at it with her hands and feet. If she is scratching at the spot, she may need to go to a vet sooner than tomorrow. I would worry that she would scratch her eye. It is good that she is not biting at a leg, or her cloaca, SM on a place where she can bite at goes much faster and requires more immediate help.

You are doing the right thing to get her to a vet! Definitely have an E-collar on stand-by.

If she is housed with another glider, I suggest that you put her in another cage until you have her checked out.
This can mean several things, but without seeing it's hard to say what is going on. I'm glad to hear that you will be taking her in to see the vet tomorrow. Make sure that you keep a close eye on her tonight.
Here is a link that will explain how to post a photo.

Put something of hers, either pouch, toy or blankets in the smaller cage. I would keep her in your room so you can keep checking on her. Linda posted her number and she's fabulous for helping.

Ok I don't mean to downplay the seriousness of this situation because something could definitely be wrong but she could just be pulling her eyebrows out. Which certainly is NOT good its a sign of stress but not something to throw her in a separate cage for because ummm that will just lead to more which of course with an e collar on won't happen but then again MORE stress making the situation worse.

Lets work on getting pictures uploaded. Do you have a photobucket account or even a myspace/facebook where you could upload there and someone could help you download onto this website??

Again I'm not trying to tell you not to use an e collar and you SHOULD go to the vet either way. I love everyone here but I'm the queen of over excitable by you guys are making ME look relaxed. roflmao

Thank you for your input Lauren. What we are doing until we have more detailed information, by not knowing exactly what is going on, so until we do, it's better to take precautions to prevent further injury than to take a chance.

The first and third one I couldn't tell, but on the second one it looks like it can be caused from overgrooming. Where it's located, it would become more irritated from another one of her cage mates grooming on it.
Does it look like just a sore spot with no broken skin? or is it just irritated?
If you have some neosporin (the kind without numbing agents in it) apply a small amount on the reddend area.
If she appears to be leaving it alone after you separate her, you will not need to worry about the ecollar. However, if she is scratching it, then please get one on her so that she doesn't irritate it more or cause it to open up.
She will need to be seen by a vet, and possibly will need antibiotics.
Make sure that she is getting plenty of fluids, and eating well tonight.
I hope that things will be alright. Please keep us posted.

It looks like a "bump". Is it a bump or just fur missing?

If you have a piece of fleece, you can wrap her up in like a burrito, this will contain her long enough to get the ointment on.

Melissa, I'm just checking to find out how your little one made out today at the vets. Please let us know, as we worry when we don't hear anything back.
I hope that she is alright.
