It uses really HOT water - it takes about 10 minutes or so to heat up. No chemicals, no film. The cage STILL feels clean after almost a week.

It came with 3 attachments - a wallpaper steamer, a brush, and a small nozzle with 3 brushes. The brush worked the best for me - about the size of a vacuum stair brush. dunno Then I used the small nozzles for the corners.

It took me forever to clean, because I was playing too much - and the cages were dirty. grin

Lowes has it and so does Home Depot - in the wallpaper area.

Molly, isn't it just wonderful?? I used the squeegy attachment to do the Iguana cage, and it's spotless!

no chemicals people, just water/steam!

and yes, it has to be the 905 model, it's the only one you can control the steam to go "on" and "off" at the push of a button.

Going to use mine now! LOL roflmao

OK need to know- has anyone tried using the carpet steamers or the steamers used to straighten your clothes? I cant find an affordable wall paper removal steamer and would like to know if these steamers will work too..

Amanda, I used Angel's steam cleaner on my rept. I took my rept apart into 3 sections and threw it in the tub. i took my shower head to rinse the frame first and then took the steamer to it. OMG it was soooo easy. I threw the cover in the washer and had it all cleaned and put back together in about an hour. Also, I left all non-fleece toys on the rept frame and cleaned them in place. Now, I am waiting for financial aid to drop so I can buy a steamer.

Val, correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you tell me something like the steamer is effective for killing parasites? So, the steamer would be GREAT for constant cleaning in case of an outbreak.
