Ok...so I found this ball at Target, called the O'Ball, and thought it was great for a toy. The holes were just small enough not to get a suggie caught.....I thought! Well...not only did a suggie climb right in...but ALL three of mine climbed in and I found them in this ball snoozing like one big Mess O Suggieness! I was so scared I was going to have to start cutting the ball to get them out but then they just came right out. BUT...if they were older or fatter, this could have been a small mess. So don't put this ball in your cages if you have fatties! Anyhoo...thought I'd share some cute pics of my almost dissaster. LOL This one, right as I snapped the pic, one came out but there were 3, yes, count them, 3 gliders in that ball about the size of a tennis ball! This pic was after the third suggie came out...these two had to be persuaded with mealies...they liked it in there!

OMG, I needed that laugh after the week I had last week. That is so cute. I saw that ball at PetSmart & I was going to buy one. You could name that "the great ball of suggies". LOL

They have larger versions ('The Really Big O Ball) that I use in my tents and all of my kids love them, but I agree the small ones shouldn't be used unsupervised, particularly if you have fluffy gliders.

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

I have two of these in the tent. The gliderkids like to climb in them too. I also stuffed them with fleece blankies and they have a ball unstuffing them.

Davie, ya know those big plastic pieces of fruit we sometimes put in cages? I think there is a strawberry, an orange and a pear or something? One day I was doing something in my colony cage (Six gliders) with their pouch...well, apparently, I went to work and never put the pouch back in the cage.....when I got home, all six were CRAMMED into that darned pear! I'll have to dig out the picture, it was SO funny and kinda looked like that ball of fur you had there.
I felt sooo bad though that I had forgotten to put their pouch back in the cage!

Thanks Ashley & Kelli for those links!! I've been trying to find that ball in a bigger size so my fluffies won't get stuck. My petsmart only carried the small one. Woo Hoo, new toys on the way!

I have one of those balls.... but i only put it in the cage once. it got moved around but I didnt get to see if duckie got in it or not. I took it out because I was afraid of him getting stuck if he did try to play in the ball... I have farely small skinny gliders right now.

The 'Really Big OBall' has bigger holes (I checked it when I got mine). My kids love to climb in and around it. It is one of Maia's favorite things (and is HUGE compared to little 70 gram her! ).
