Put pouches all over the house for him and food. If he is still in your house then he WILL come out sooner or later. Can you get someone to come and sit downstairs while you sit upstairs. If he could get into the walls then he may still be in there. Once it is time for him to come out, put your ears up to the walls all over the house and listen for him to be climbing around. He might be stuck somewhere. Could he have gotten into the attic? Even if you do not have an attic there is still lots of space up there..........since gliders do like being up high......oooooo I hope you find him soon!

AHHH!!! I still haven't found him. BUT! my mom said she heard some "pitter patter" in the atic while i was at school. I am going to go wait in the attic at about the time he wakes up. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support, he means the world to me and last night I couldn't even sleep i was pretty upset. Thanks everyone.

Then tonight, put food and drink in the attic and also in the room below the attic, along with familiar, scented pouches or nestboxes.

If I were you and I thought he might be in the attic, I would probably try to stay up there tonight and listen very carefully.

One of the things you have to be careful of in houseproofing for your glider is to make sure there aren't little holes or places they can crawl into or behind. If they can get their head through it, they can get through it. It's amazing how small an area they can get through.

ehhh...almost 2 days now...anyone think there's still hope... I miss him so much. I attached a picture of him.

Put his cage up in the attic with his food and pouches, check tomorrow morning.

Attics are high up too..just where they like to be..he's got to be there somewhere!! Don't lose hope! ..PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO RAT OR MICE TRAPS OR POISON IN THE ATTIC. Ask your mom! and then check anyway! Still praying!

...I can't stop crying, Gizmo is gone. I guess Gizmo got out of the house somehow, and got to my neighbors pool. He drowned. It's amazing how attatched I got to him. I loved him so much, he was my first and only glider I've had. I truly feel that he was more than just an animal, he had the best personality. Well thanks everyone for being so supportive. <3333

I know for me, after losing a chin in November, I took a little time to mourn and think about him, now I'm ready to get another one. thanks everyone, it means a lot. I like the idea of rainbow bridge. I also like the idea of sooner or later getting another glider not to replace him, but to maybe fill the hole. They both sort of cheered me up a bit. Thanks everyone.

He will always be in your heart till you see him again. Adopting another glider can help with the pain till then and bring you joy and also give another glider joy in his/her life. It's obvious you really love him and there are so many more out there that need the kind of love you provide for them.
