I would like to put my lil girl back with her parents once she is eating on her own..When I move her out of the incubator, how soon can she be with her parents again? Will I have to do intros? Or will they know that's their daughter?

You would have to go through the entire "introduction" process again. You never know if mom and dad will totally accept their baby again.

I would go slow and follow all the introduction protocol.

Hope this helps!

I have a rejected one that is 4 months oop. I attempted to reintroduce her to mom and dad and it didnt work. I tried it several times with no luck.

Luckily I have an extra cage! I'm just really hoping they can live happily as a trio(once dad is fixed!)
If not I guess I'll be getting one more to be her friend!

If a baby has been pulled from the parents while handfeeding... it cannot go back in with the parents.

If baby is fed by hand and put with the parents after every feeding... baby can stay with the parents.

With your joey... the parents will not accept the baby as they have forgotten it was their offspring.

Here is a picture of joeyjo, he was 8 weeks oop when we separated his father for 2 weeks so he could get neutered, when we reintroduced the father back to mom and joey.. dad no longer recognized the joey, and attacked him, we were very lucky that joey survived, dad bite him on his head and under his jaw.

this is joey at 6 months
we had to use bright lights to show his eye, joey is a very dark glider.
sorry the pics are not very good.. but he has no eye and the side of his head seems non existent

Can I still try intros as if she was a new glider then?

A weaned baby cannot defend itself with two adults.

bonded breeding pairs even if the male is neutered.usually do not accept another glider into their group. With that said... be prepared to house the little one in a seperate cage.
