He has come to realize that when he sees your hand a treat is on the way! You could start offering him treats that have to be held instead of licky treats and this may cut back on the nibbles....

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

You may also still smell like treats! Try washing your hands after handling tasty food

Last night my suggie was doing strange things to my fingers too. I was also giving her licky treats but she would stop, bite my fingernail, and then go back to her treat. A little while later, she was biting my cuticle. Both times she bit me, it hurt. Like Brian, It wasn't like very painful but it surely did not feel good. I'm thinking this may be part of the bonding process and gaining trust in you. Also, if its nibbles, your suggie may be trying to groom you- which to them is affectionate. I'm still left wondering just how much pain I should tolerate from her and what to do to discourage the biting.

Good news though.. He is now compleaty use to pouches the first time I introduced him to one I had to take him and his hut he was in too the batroom and kinda fight him so he would get into the pouch the next day he was easyer I got him in it without him haveing to go into the bathroom. today I went in set the pouch into the cage and he went over to it and stuck his head into it and I just scooted him into it he wasent a pain at all he is such a good boy now all I need is that incert for the wodent weel from sun coast sugar gliders and his nails will be good and he wont scratch me as bad lol.

Thanks

Every time you see him even starting to put his nose in that area, do the psst psst noise or a firm no. He will eventually learn that this is not a good thing for him to do and will stop. Once you do the psst psst, distract him from that area. It sounds like he either smells something on you or he is trying to groom you.

HA HA...I needed to PSSST! PSSST! about 5 times tonight. We did not have a good tent time tonight. Someone was grumpy. I dont think she slept well today because I took her to work with me for the 1st time. As a matter of fact, shes sleeping again now, which is weird for her.
