Chris, I got the first first aid box done. Was this what you had in mind?
I still have to attach the pocket to the inside lid for the medical info card. Almost forgot that. I know there are other things that could go in it but what do you think of this? Thanks again for the idea and the adorable glider drawing!

Ok, got the pocket put in. It just has a peice of blue paper in it right now so that you can see. That is a standard size peice of paper folded in fourths.

Thanks everyone. I did a chicken one for someone on another site. Talked to Chris and she sent me that adorable nurse glider said to make one for gliders.
If Chris approves (since it is her drawing I used) then I will have a few at the SGGA.

Bummer I won't be at the SGGA either. My sheltie was diagnosed a few months ago with epilepsy and I can't leave her till it is under control.

Whom ever is going to be selling the Emerg Box... I would love to purchase just the box also. I have all of the supplies already as I had purchased one of the Emerg Kits last year from Kathy.
Is it possible to purchase a box? No need to ship it... just bring it to the SGGA and I will pick it up.
aww Debra, I'm so sorry to hear about your sheltie. I had a sheltie named Jessie who had epilepsy. She was about 5 when she had her first seizure. She was 15 when we put her to rest. She had a FANTASTIC and full life. I hope for the same for your little sheltie.
Judie, yes, I'll have just the boxes available too.
This is what I have in the kits...they are not necessarily complete but definately a good start.
1 8 oz. Purell Hand Sanitizer 1 2 oz Tube KY Jelly 2 Individually wrapped Germ-X Antibacterial Wipes 10 Individually wrapped alcohol prep pads 2 Individual Packets Neosporin 5 2”x2” Individually wrapped gauze pads 10 popsicle sticks (splints) 1 e-collar with extra mole skin and mole foam for adjustments 1 roll Adhesive medical tape 1 30 count box of Q-tips 12 Cotton Rounds Cotton balls (approximately 12-15) 1 roll self adhesive vet wrap 1 pair small sizzors 1 pair nail clippers 2 3cc syringes (needleless) 1 1cc syringes (needleless)
So, what am I forgetting that should be in there? I would like to include the colastate spray but at $15 each, just couldn't do it this time. (but I think everyone should have some in their kits)
I will be redoing my website and adding my wood burning peices on there. Just probably not until after the SGGA.

I've "evolved" the design just a bit. I think this looks even better as it highlights the nurse glider more. This is one of the smaller boxes, it is 9"x6"x3" and I have decided to donate it to the SGGA Raffle. The large boxes are 12"x9"x5".

I love the box! How much are they going to be? Excellent drawing ~ and I like it better with the red cross behind the glider.
But...

Lynn, I know it has already been mentioned that TGI has e-kits for sale, but Tinkerbell's mom already makes a travel kit. It's called "Glider on the Go Kit". (In addition, Suz makes a Rejected Joey Pouchee Kit.) This is already being made and offered for sale to the glider community. I hope this link works:
It's a common practice and courtesy in the glider community to not copy/duplicate someone else's product. I don't think that was your intention, so I thought I'd give you a head's up!
