I like this idea better than mine. I had just sewn into the top some lanyard hooks to be able to hang things from. It works well for toys and pouches, although I still had to place the food bowls on the floor and I rigged a way to somewhat get the water bottle to stay on the side of the cage by forcing the tip of the water bottl ethrough one of the holes on the side where there is mesh. Then I used the water bottle hook thingy to try and keep it in place. this set up works ok but it still isn't sturdy enough for all of their bouncing around. I would place it in a corner wall for support and then place stuff around it so that they couldn't knock it over. But this is such a great idea I will have to have my husband help me make one. Thank you soo much for sharing this with us!!

Since there were several posts about measurements, here you go:
Extra-Large Pop-Up Cage: Measured in the OUTSIDE: 42" High, Solid Sides 24.5" Wide, Mesh Sides 26" Wide
My "gym": These are the dimensions for the Cut pieces, so when you add the connectors it fits snug inside the pop-up.
Base Square: -Two Sides 21.5" Long (Fit against the solid sides) -Two Sides 23" Long (Fit against the mesh sides) (Connected with Four-way connectors, and one side has a "T" connector in the center to hold the wheel)
Vertical Posts: -One Post (Holds Food dish at top)23" (This could be a little taller, but it's a good height to hold to food container and give the gliders head room.) -Food Dish Holder: Pipes are 5.25" each and connected with three elbows and one 3-way connectors to attach it to the post. (A 870ml Lock&Lock container can sit inside the square. You could also just make a little landware "floor" permanently attached to it to hold a dish.)
-Two Vertical Posts with "T" connectors and caps = 22.25" (These were measured with the connectors and caps still on the pipes.) (These could be taller and still fit.) -One Horizonal Bar - 32"
-Snap Clamps (hold the Landware floor to the gym) 4" each - there are 8 of these.
Total Connector Parts: "T" = 3 Elbows = 4 3-way = 1 4-way = 4 Caps = 2 Snap Clamps = 8
Keep in mind that this gym doesn't really sit on the floor of the pop-up - it's connectors on the bottom sit in the corners, a little way up off the floor to keep the gliders from reaching down and picking up dropped food and such.

PVC pipes are so handy. I use them all the time for my pets. I made a playgym for my African Grey out of PVC and I've put pieces in the sugars cages so that they can run and jump on. I just wrap a rope around the pipes so that the sugars have something to cling on to when running on them. I also use pvc pipes to make tunnel swings for them to swing on and run through. They love it!

I just made it a no sew...I wrapped a piece of fleece around the pipe and then allotted for 11 inch long fringe one inch apart. You have to take the insert apart to get it in and out of the cage, so when I am done, I just slide the covers off, wash and slide back on...

Thanks for the pictures and mention of these pop-up kennels. My boys are going in the vet tomorrow after which they'll no longer be "boys" and the pop-up will be convenient for keeping them separated while taking them home (one in the pop up, one in wire mesh cage). Hope I don't have to keep them separated too long as they still haven't bonded to me yet (in fact, they seem even more pouch protective than ever after my one-week vacation) so I think they need their time together. I just have to figure out which one gets to be in the mansion I built a couple weeks ago and which one gets the "shack".
