Jillmarie,
I am with you I mean can't we get someone on the inside and find their "breeding" sheds and then call the USDA cause I PROMISE YOU (PPP) Perfect Pocket Pets may be USDA Lic but those indivial sheds aren't and are most likey not known to the USDA cause they would shut them down.

gliders don't respond to discipline. if you try to discipline them, they will begin to dislike you and try their best to avoid you.

i think this guy thinks that one method of teaching puppies not to bite is also going to be effective for gliders (i've heard of people pressing their thumbs down on the pup's tongue after each bite).

there's no way a glider will respond positively to this. they only respond positively to positive reinforcements like treaties, they will definitely respond negatively to discipline like blowing on them or shoving your giant thumb in their little mouths. they also hate being restrained, so doing his method is definitely not going to go over well with the glider.

ASGV is a really sketchy website. i don't agree with a lot of what they say, they seem to just tell you everything you'd WANT to hear when you're a frustrated new glider-owner looking for answers.

You know what I was thinking.... This vet doesn't even explain this "technique" very well either because I don't remember hearing him say that you have to be careful doing this! I really hope someone didn't shove their finger into a glider's mouth (get BIT) and really hurt their glider... it makes me sick thinking about it!

I strongly disagree with this "technique"!!!

Also with the comments, I bet they can take the bad comments off. We should watch for that in case they have it set up like that.

I wish there was something I could do...

It's sad how some people think they can bully their glider into trusting them. shakehead Talk about contradicting themselves. Maybe they need to finish the thought pattern. Hum... trust through bullying... maybe this is NOT the way.

That's because they're, in reality, Perfect Pocket Pets.

Yes Ashley- comments have to be approved! So, they will never approve someone saying something about how wrong they are!

We do not discipline our glider boys. No need to do that.

I was not able to post for the past month on GC and just came across this post.

I can not believe my eyes......what is this guy thinking? I got so upset I couldn't even watch halfway! That poor little baby, how can anyone be so cruel? frown

This is just not right!
