How many gliders can one munchie hold?

I recommend 2 gliders per munchie. If you crochet too tight, it'll only fit one though! So, keep those stitches loose.

Then Im guessing it will only fit one big glider like a 133g glider. ;-)

Oh no, Rachel, I have monster gliders. They're big babies. I think two will get in there just fine. They like to squish in there anyway.

Amanda, have you ever tried it with an N hook? I can't seem to find my Q hook anywhere, although I do know I own one! I have tons of Ns floating around because that's what I normally use with my blankets. I thought maybe I'd just have to add an extra round or two, but I wouldn't think it would be a problem beyond that? I think you may have to increase for 2 more rows (then decrease for two more on the way out) and maybe add an extra round of SC's in there, but I think it'd totally work. If you have an S hook it may work as well.

An N hook did not work at all. I ended up buying a Q. The N would have been fine if the fleece hadn't been so wide, but it was just too tight to work with.
One question, one suggestion. How big is he supposed to be, like across? I used maybe *half* the fleece I cut, and he looks so little! Probably because I naturally crochet tightly, I can't help it.
And my suggestion would be to include directions for st2tog. I had NO idea what that meant, and I had to google it. I've always decreased just by skipping stitches, so this was a new technique for me.

Holy cow... everyone, I am SO sorry... I use an S hook! I corrected the pattern to reflect that change. Also, if you have any questions about how to do any Amigurumi stitches, feel free to visit PlanetJune.com That's where I learned and she's amazing for her pictures and how-to's on crocheting!

I thought the big blue Boye crochet hook was a Q, that's what I've been using.

OK.....if I am reading this chart correctly, there is only a 4mm difference in the hooks anyway. Enough so that if you tend to crochet a very tight stitch, you might go up the hook size, but not enough to *have* to rip something out. It's Lionbrand's site, not Boye, but the standard measurements should still apply. http://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/pg.fcgi?page=hooks.html

OH my goodness, you did not just take me to that site! LOL I love Lionbrand... I'm a terrible person and I want to buy EVERYTHING!!! AAK! Yeah, it doesn't seem like there's a huge difference in the hook size, and I think either one can be used. My hook doesn't have the size on it. I thought it was on the end, but I guess not. Boo.
