What are certain toys that your gliders like? What are the names or the companies? I think my babies are getting sick of theirs and I wanted to buy some new ones online. What are their favorites? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

My guys love fisher price playhouse, it has a bed, bathtub, & fridge, I put goodies in these different spots. It folds up in half. Has a door they can run in and out of. they sometimes sleep in the bed and the tub. My guys loved this when he was by himself and now the other glider loves it as well. The next thing that they love is the enrichment toys that you can hide the worms in and they have to work to get them. This is a really good thread! Thanks for starting it. Oh...and they love when I string cheerios on a curling ribbon and hang it from the top of the cage.

I have a feather toy that came from Suncoast Gliders with a starter package I believe. It is a fun interactive toy I use with bonding. I don't leave it in there otherwise.

Becci, what a fab toy - FP playhouse! I have lots of FP stuff for my 2 human boys but each piece would be missed if they ended up in the cage.

And I love this thread also <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" /> - looking forward to what others will contribute.

I love the playhouse idea! So cool! I've kind of been at a loss with my guys as well. They like their branches and vines. I did find an all plastic bird toy with jinglies on it that Firefly seems to enjoy.

My boys also like their place house and the feather toy, but most of all they love their tiki hut. We made ours but you can buy them online too. You use a half of a coconut (shell only) and then build a pouch around the coconut so that the opening is to the side (this is the front) and the coconut sits in this opening. We sewed ours with a bird toy bell going into the "hut" and they love it their, in fact they sleep their often! I'll try to take a picture today after they get out of there.

My guys adore their Parthenon from Chris' Creations, their Great Barrier Reef from Dancingwaters Designs, & their Playstation from Glider Daydreams - those are the top 3 toys in my house!

I said feather toy earlier, but I was assuming everyone knows the Wodent Wheel (or any exercise wheel) is a given favorite. Mine use it daily.

And after the first 2 days sleeping in their food bowl <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />, they usually now sleep in their Tiki hut too. 2nd favorite sleeping place is their cabana.

I'm on the waiting list for buying the 7 wonders!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" />

Mine LOVE their barrel of monkeys! I hang them all over their cage and they just go nuts on them. They each have their own wheels although they both spend most of their time on the extra large wodent wheel. They also have a tire swing and lots of rope. Outside of their cage they have rope and pouches and random stuffed animals all hanging like a jungle gym across the ceiling. (My boyfriend got bored one night). The also play with other stuffed animals and feather teasers.

Although they have all of these toys their favorite thing to play with would be my hair. They like to swing from it and dig through it and hide in it... while i'm watching tv they will sit on my shoulders and groom almost every strand of my hair. I dont know what their going to do in June when i cut it all off!!!

Thanks everyone! these are great ideas! My girls favorite is the string with a tassel on the end from a sweatshirt of mine. they loved it so much that I cut it off and play tug of war with them every night.

OK... i just bought a hexagon shape sorter. the ones that little kids put the circle, square etc shapes in. The holes are big enough for the gliders to go in and out of, they have been having a ball chasing one another and playing peek a boo in this. I get my fisher price toys at goodwill or salvation army. for $1 or less i get great things for them to play with. If you let the people at these thrift shops know that you don't need the little parts they will keep the toys for me, otherwise they would probably throw them away thinking how can someone use this without the shapes?
