Just an update on June 1, 2010 I applied for a USDA Class A breeder's License. I received my inspection on July 1st and today received my license in the mail. It was a very simple process for me to do here in Arizona. My inspector told me there are no other USDA licensed breeder's in Arizona that he is aware of. He said the closest licensed breeder he knows of is in Henderson, NV. Does anyone know of other licensed breeders in Arizona? Thanks for your replies. Derek

Congrats on the license. I know of one breeder in Arizona (from her website I assumed she was licensed) but now that I look at it, I can't find anywhere on it that says she is licensed. Am I allowed to post the link to her website?

Tevina, is the web site you are talking about Desert Sugar Gliders? I replied to an ad on craigslist about a mosaic joey and the return email address was to this web site.

LOL I have bred, but I no longer do. I kept all my babies out of greed, and I now have an awesome colony. I know a few people who DO breed, and try to sell. I'm not for that if there are no lineages. Proper lineages, that is.

I only briefly looked over their website, seems like they have everything laid out but they don't provide lineages which I found a bit odd. Edit: And no mention of any license, too.

Thanks Tevina and Chattrbabe for the reply. Tevina, I have emailed them a couple times about my gliders and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about gliders. As for lineage I don't have any on mine either the lady that gave me all my gliders did not provide me with lineages. is there a way to get this? She told me that her husband was a truck driver and purchased the nine pairs with cages and all from a place in Terrell Texas.

Odds are good that she purchased them from a mill breeder and they should not be bred without lineage. Sorry!
