So I'm making good progress in gathering all my information before I get my gliders so thanks all. However, one thing has been kind of bugging me and that is bra babies.

I love the whole concept of bra babies, I love reading stories about bra babies, but what if you are ... well "blessed" in that certain area, there may not be alot of room for a bra baby. So I was just wondering if there were any stories of other "chesty" ladies or are there alternatives or options for us?

You should see how red my face is typing all this up, oh boy

eh - you just put 'em in! The settle in just fine.

I was SO PROUD yesterday. I took all 4 of my joeys out in a bonding pouch to work on socialization. Three of them dove right into the pouch. But my little WF Girl refused to go into the pouch and instead went right down my shirt.

Good girl!!

i too am "blessed" lol
i wear a bra that seperates em (you only get that if your big chested!) then i wear a cami! the cami is flexible enough to stretch and make a "pocket" between *em*. so thats what i do!

I'm not big...I carry all three of mine at nearly all times. Sometimes, it looks like I have a third boob...lol...but hey, all's good. hehehe They somehow squish themselves in and find pretty concealable spots! You'd be surprised!

I don't know guys I'm looking but I just don't see any room for gliders down there lol

We will just have to wait and see what happens when I get mine which I'm hoping will be very soon. I'm just making some renovations to the room I'm going to house them in.

i have a D cup, & buy DD. i also found, by pure luck, that Playtex makes an 18 hr bra, called comfort lace, item # 4088, @ onehanesplace.com, for $13.99 each--5 colors--so i bought one of each color!!! these have an opening, sleeve(?)to them.a slit is 'made'on the inside of the cups, between the cleavage,& why they have a slit in them I'll never know, but there is material between you & them. mine used to get all sweaty from me,b/c i sweat so much (hot flashes).these bra's sell @ walmart for $21.00.i look lopsided, too, when i wear the girls,b/c they both want to be together on the same side, than have each their own side!!!

I'm tiny and massive up top, and I get so jealous when I see bra babies. I see a pic of a bra baby, look down my shirt and go "Well, that isn't gonna happen. That would be a form of suggie cruelty." What I have done is bought sleeveless hoodies and let them sleep in the back. I have tried under shirts and doubling up bras but that wasn't working for any of us. It is hot enough in florida (especially when your big up top) without wearing extra layers of clothing. Plus, I am Irish and can't handle the heat. The only advice I can give is do what you and your suggies prefer. Experiment with the suggestions people gave you and see what works best for you and your babies so you are all comfortable. agree

I buy a cami that fits pretty tightly so I know the band on the inner lining will fit snuggly against my skin under the bottom of my lower bra band and be sure to keep them in. I wouldn't ever wear the cami alone anyway because not many make camis for...um...larger chested women, so the cami only covers about the lower 2/3 of my bra.

If you have a properly fitting and supportive bra, the material between the cups should rest against your chest and there is a pocket of space created sort of under the middle (between the bra and the cami). There isn't a whole lot of room, but luckily I only have one bra baby, so she squiggles in between settles below.

My kiddo is small (70g on a heavy day) and since I have well fitted bras, she cannot get into my bra - trust me, she has tried. It's hilarious, she shoves her head under the material and tries to wiggle in, then sort of slumps like 'that didn't work'. roflmao

Great advice here, thank you everyone.
Thank you joesfine for the bra suggestion. I wonder what the manufacturers were thinking when they made it.

Playtex Employee 1: "This is a great bra, wonderful support. Good job team!"
Playetx Employee 2: "EGAD! but how will women hold their suggies!?!"
Mass panic ensues
Playtex Employee 3: "Quick make a slit in the cups!"
Playtex Employee 1: " Woosh. Crisis averted."

Something like that.

I'm sporting an F cup (ugh) and found that It actually is a good thing. When I wear Pookah It's difficult to tell. He just kind of blends in. I made simple square pouches and put a lanyard hook on each side. I hang the pouch from my bra straps, from the collar of my shirt or stuff it in a cami. Pookah normally blends in by snuggling under or between. Sometimes he sticks out a little but it's hard to notice if you not looking for it. When I hang the pouch from my collar he sits on the "shelf" and is really hard to see. Best Bras I found to wear with him are Lane Bryant's Lace full coverage Bra PIC If you look at the link you can see it gives a good shape for him to hide in smile

I make a pouch that has a plastic insert to help hold the "ladies" out of the way. its good for only a single glider, and works best under a sports bra. it was very popular when Arwen was smaller and "weaker" but now that she's a tough girl, she just muscles her way down between LOL

When I first got gliders and it was only Gizmo, Zoey who has passed and Widget I tucked them into the middle of my bra where there was a little space and within two minutes they were all lined up on one tata smooshed by the bra with only their little pink noses peaking out of the lace.

That night when I went to take them out every time I would get one out Gizmo would back up, your not taking me out of my nice snug sleeping place. When it was finally her turn to come out I ended up taking off the bra as she had scooted back where I couldn't reach her. I have to evict her out of the bonding pouches too.

LOL, I have the opposite problem (not so blessed in this area). I'm always worried the gliders are going to dive inside my bra & bite me where it hurts. Haha. I too wear the tank tops with the extra layer up top. It creates sort of a shelf & I have LOTS of space in the middle frown so the gliders have no problem getting in there. I don't generally carry around the adults this way, but for the babies I like to stuff them in there & get them used to lots of handling & snuggling with people. Sometimes I'll stuff them in the bottom of the tank instead. It fits pretty tight, so they don't fall out.

If the bra doesn't work for you, just try something else. You could even build a pocket inside of a shirt & use that.

Misty

Keep in mind, I have not read through this post all of the way, so if I am re-posting what another has said, I apologize.

I have a 38 DD chest and I wear a cami top or a sports bra over my normal bra. It used to be for gliders only but it's become a sort of security blanket for me....lol...

Ok, I use a sports bra, and Im a 40DD. Ive put my Casper in there, and the first time, he left his teeth marks on my "globe".. ok, took a week to vanish.. but I continued and hes good now.

I have two surrender girls i am trying to work with, and while they were GREAT in there yesterday, today they decided to try to eat me. That or peal my skin from my "girls". I was hopping around.. both of my human kids found this hilarious.

So, I decided to let the girls have the day off.. as well as the two gliders. LOL.

yes the space is small, but when you think of the minimal space they have in pouch, this is just a bigger version so they normally love it.

I'm a 38DDD but buy a 42DDD sports bra. Makes lots of room for them. The natural curve of the girls, makes the perfect space in the middle, towards the bottom. But, I've had them deliberately climb inside the cup, which makes for a lot of second looks and I've had them climb under a girl or on the outside of a girl. How they can breathe, I'll never know but that's what they prefer.

May I just say this was an informative thread smile

I have never had a "bra baby" per say, but I have "hefty" gliders, and I'm no slouch myself. So I just don't see how it could work dunno

The funny thing is, before I even saw this post, I tried to put Destiny (my smallest glider) in my bra today. Then in the shirt, then in a bra pouch I got from the SGGA. She would have none of that, and although I am large chested, I was all lumps, and she's my smallest shock

I'll just keep wearing my bonding pouch, and sneak a peak at everyone else's when they stick out their nose, or their tails! roflmao

I have just started working on bra training and the funny thing is that in order to get my two girls to settle in I have to just wear my sports bra around the house for a while, until they decide they have no other option and then they will go down the bra and stay there for the entire day. If I put a shirt on before they are ready to settle in they won't go in the sports bra. It's only been two days but I hope I don't have to keep doing this process for to long as fall is coming and it could get quite cold walking around the house for 30 minutes or more with just a sports bra on waiting for Zeva and Zoey to settle in for the day! It is fun to have bra babies though!

ROFL @ NORA! thats great!
when mine are being turds, ill place them in my shirt... they will somtimes"nose" their way to the top to go back in the pouch.. but if i place my hand SOFTLY over them, and kinda talk to em while nudging them back into place, they will stay. some days, they stay no problem... then some days, i get in the car and PLAY TIME! ugh! so ill place my hand over the collar and kinda just right above the girls so they have to stay , and usually after about a minuted they will calm down and curl up.
bra babies are fun! but sometimes, they can be real turds! LOL

D.C. that almost happend to me yesterday at the grocery store as well. As I was unloading the cart at the cash register, the squirming started. I kept holding the top of my shirt hoping that no one decided that they needed to check out the view up top. There were a couple of not to friendly looking elderly ladies in line behind me as I was unloading my cart so gingerly so I am sure they would have either caused a scene or fainted dead away if one of my babies had decided to pop out for a quick peek-a-boo! Luckly they stopped squirming, didn't crab and we escaped out the door with no one being the wiser!
