This is a question for the long time glider people. Could mouthwash be used to sanitize water bottles? The opening in the bottle is so small I'm not sure enough dishwasher water can get in there to sanitize. It is an antibacterial but I don't know if it's safe for suggies.

I wouldn't use mouthwash-the alcohol and stuff wouldnt' be good for the gliders if any was left. We just used extremely hot water to make sure ours were clean. Others may have more ideas...I'll move this to housing and maybe we can get some others.

I wash mine once a week with hot water and soap. Then I let it air dry. I rinse it out with very hot water every day and put fresh water in.
