So here's the dual coconut hut with bridge i got last weekend. I'm removing the wood and twine bridge and replacing it with the fleece rope to connect them. I might get two small plastic link chains to connect them instead at some point. The c-link chains are made are meh. Would you suggest i remove the straw tops? What about the fibers on the outside of the coconut and the fiber bedding that's stuck inside it? Should i clean/soak it in water before i put it in the cage as well? If so, what should i use to clean them?

The coconut fibers are okay and will not harm the gliders. There is no need to wash clean the coconuts until the gliders soil them wink

It is okay as well. They may tear it up so just watch for stray pieces which you can remove from their cage. You may find some in their pouch as well. They are little packrats sometimes rofl
