So I just got an ecoquest system yesterday. I found out about them from Priscilla and that is what makes her gliders smell SOOOOO good. I plugged mine up and within 2 hours you couldn't even smell them anymore!!!! I was so amzed. It doesn't filter or cover up the odors but it actually ionizes and kills them. They are a little pricy but well worth it. If you are interrested please contact Deedra. Here is her site. Please give her a call or email. Mention you were reffered to her by Tyler Cleckley and you will recieve a FREE gift. If you get one let me know how well it works. I currently have the Breeze as seen on her site.

I found the same price range upon searching some of the price check sites I'll stick with my rainmate... The other thing that concerns me is that it's an ionizer and my asthma/allergy dr advised against using those..

What is a rainmate? And how much do they cost? I really need to find some way to deodorize my room.. My glider room is being renovated so mine are in the living room for THREE WEEKS.

Do all of your gliders really smell that bad? I have 2 and I don't think they're stinky... My breeder has like 25 in a room and it doesn't smell bad either.

Mine didn't use to stink, but ever since I switched to repts I've noticed a lot more. . . But I hate cages and would much rather have repts.

From what I understand, her male is also starting to reach maturity, so he's probably developing his bald spot and marking more. So more smell.
Hey Alicia, one thing I know that can possibly add to reptarium stink... Do you put anything under the reptarium or are they sitting right on the floor? I actually noticed less stink when I switched to a rep. I put puppy pads under the rep on the floor that way any pee that went through the bottom would still get caught between the floor and the cage. If it goes all the way to the floor, you may want to give the carpet a good cleaning and start using puppy pads as a barrier between the rep and the floor.

Oh really... I wonder why. I thought it is suppost to help seeing as how it kills everything in the air. OK, here is an article about it. The main thing I saw was that the ionizers release ozone gas into the air... And here's a old post where we discussed the rainmate

There are many vendors who sell Rainmates on eBay. It is an air cleaner that sucks the air in and runs it through water and when it comes out the air smells really clean. It actually also cleans dust particles out of the air for those of us who are allergic to dust and dust mites. I ordered two of them in October. Unfortunately the vendor I ordered them from never sent them. Thank goodness I paid for them using my credit card and the credit card company refunded my money after I disputed the charges. Make sure you read the vendors feedback before you make a purchase from them. I learned my lesson the hard way. I also got ripped off by someone who was selling DVD's. They never sent them and I couldn't get my money back from PayPal. So please, always read the feedback from someone before you purchase from them and use a credit card to pay for the item and you stand a much better chance of recovering your money if you never get the product.

Tyler, I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. As I told you at Priscillas, I just ordered a Flair and have had it in for about a week now. My husband is FINALLY saying he can not smell ONE glider in the house (I currently have 18 gliders counting my new joeys). He was CONSTANTLY complaining about them, no matter what I did or how often I cleaned as his nose is SUPER sensitive. I have to say the first couple days the smell it throws off was not pleasant to me, however, my hubby said it smelled like clean fresh air. I told him it smelled worse then the gliders ever could! Today, my house smells fresh and clean all the time. I guess once the newness wears off it isnt as bad as it starts off to be! I give this TWO thumbs up to anyone who has several gliders in one room.

No problem. I love mine too!!!!!!!! IT smell is worse than the gliders. We were so disappointed. Sfter talking with Priscilla it is something you get used to because it is really fresh air. I just dealt with it for a couple days then noticed it was great!!!!!! Also it does freshens a wide wide area as well. If your interrested in getting one please see my website www.gliderboygliders.bravehost.com and click on Contact us. There will be a link there. Contact Deedra and she will get you exactly what you need. Alos, make sure to say that I sent ya!!!!! Peggy...did you go through Deedra?
