Megi, did you make your own kit or did you buy one from somewhere. As crazy as I am about my girls, I am really thinking I should have one. The nearest experienced suggie owner from me is 2 hours. I don't care for my vet at all and I am almost sure that all emergency vets are not glider experienced in the least little bit.

I made it myself. No one sells them. There is a list in Housing I think that I posted this morning.

Awesome! Thank you Megi! I really appreciate it. Quick question though. Do you just keep 1 of each item(I only have 2 suggies) Also, do you just watch expiration dates?

I keep several. I only have 4 gliders. Keep many of the pedialyte pops. (I don't freeze them, that way they're drinkable when I need them) You can use those for dehydration, low blood sugar, etc. I keep several e-collars on hand (you can buy those from Xfilefan here on GC) I also keep several syringes so I can just grab one and have many still clean in case I need them. I use the baby medicine syringes because they don't stink and you won't shoot your glider in the face with water, pedialyte, etc. They can be found in the thermometer/weekly pill sorter area in Wal-Mart's pharmacy and are only a couple bucks. I'd get several of them. I also take water in those with me when I take the gliders anywhere in a sissy.

Yeah, my two became dehydrated about 1 month after I got them. The vet gave me quite a few of those syringes. They scared me a little the first time I used them. The whole thing was cleared in a few seconds and I truly though the were really sick and now had drank too much too fast. Then I shot the pedalyte out into the sink and saw that like 10 drops were all that came out of the small syringe! I use mine when we travel with the girls to give them water. Thanks for all the help. I am going to be getting an ecollar when I go to the spring get together in April her in Indy that Becki is holding. I am dragging my dear hubby along so he can get one too. He keeps saying, "How did you talk me into this?" I noticed that you said sissy as in sissy pouch. Is queenduck who I have to go to see about those? (Sorry I am bugging you for info!)

Yep, but she has some on Critterbin now! http://www.critterbin.com/cgi-bin/auctio...mp;Lang=EnglishFor 2 gliders you will need a single size or a double. Right now all that is up there are my size (for 1 glider or 2 very small gliders/joeys) and doubles (4+) Singles are for 1-3 gliders. She isn't doing customs right now I don't think, but it wouldn't hurt to pm her and also keep an eye on Critterbin because she may list more.

Ugh, Megs. Thank You for letting me know this post was here. You're right. I most definitely would want to know. Cerulean will always be my girl. What a scary, scary thing. I know what it's like.. Sophie seized her last day with me, and it was THE most heart breaking thing I have ever seen. Granted Sophie and I were closer than most two souls, but.. ANY glider would have been just as traumatizing. I am so glad to hear that she's doing well now, and that there doesn't appear to be any serious issues, thus far. Please keep me posted on how she's doing. I dont' get around to all the sections, forums, and posts, but I do want to know that she's doing great. Thank You, and kisses for Princess C.

Just an update, everything is still going well. No more seizures (that I have seen) and healthy appetites all around with the HPW. Also, the food aggression has ceased.
