I was wondering if you can use the creative hands foam beads and shapes pieces to make toys with? It's the kind of pieces you see that you can make door hangers and such with..Some people had door hangers made with it at the SGGA..I was looking for pieces on E-bay in the bird section and saw that people were using them for bird toys so I wondered if we could use them. Thanks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/muchlove.gif" alt="" /> Becky

I agree, my glider gets into anything he can and foam wouldn't be safe unless you were monitoring your suggie. Not only could they choke on it, but if they do swallow it, there might be toxins in the foam. Also, if it swallowed, I don't think it would "pass through" well. Yuck. :o)

I've never given my gliders foam toys; however, one night they were running around and Ollie climbed onto my boyfriend's bike seat. There's a small tear in the cloth, so the foam of the bike seat shows through. Little Ollie thought it would be a good plan to tear off a huge piece of the foam and try eating it like a piece of fruit. Luckily, I was watching him and took it away from him before he ate any. I had to hold him down and tug it out of his hand (he didn't seem too happy - he really wanted that foam!). So just through that little experience I can tell you that foam probably isn't a good idea for gliders.

This isn't soft foam like that..it really compact..I am going to make a out-of-cage toy with it and watch them really close and see what happens...But I won't use it at all for my set of chewers!!
